Our wedding day was beyond everything we could have ever dreamed of! We started our wedding weekend on Thursday at Winnebago Springs and enjoyed our extra time before the wedding with our closest family and friends. Our wedding morning we spent separately in the men’s cabin and women’s bridal suite getting ready for our day. We chose to have our first look in the outdoor air-chapel where our ceremony would be held after. It was a perfect fall, 55-degree day and we got to explore the 100+ acres to capture our photos in the beauty of nature. Our reception and dance were held in the stunning event-center and went into the early morning hours. We’re so grateful to our family, friends, and all our amazing vendors that made our wedding so special.
Good Times Catering · The food was delicious, and the service was wonderful! We had numerous guests compliment how good the food was. Good Times made the process very easy from the tasting all the way through day-of timing and linen rentals.
DJ Neilix Entertainment · DJ Neil was incredibly thoughtful in planning our event from ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dance party. He kept the dance floor packed all night and even stayed a little longer per our guest requests.
MaryAnn's Florals · Our wedding bouquets, boutonnieres and florals were exactly what we envisioned and more! We planned the floral concepts over email since we live out of town (which made us a little nervous) but they completely pulled it off. They even had bud vases for rent which was a nice added touch.
Hair Dressed by Kristyn · Kristyn was so great to work with! Her and her second came out to the bridal suite and did 10 hairstyles. She had an eye for detail and delivering everyone’s vision. All the girls loved their looks!
Makeup by AmberRae · Amber was easy to work with and knows how to deliver a desired look! She came out to the bridal suite and did makeup for 10 people. Our makeup lasted all day and even into the next morning.
Jaimie Lauren Collective · Jaimie and her team were incredibly great to work with. From the pre-planning through wedding day. Our package included engagement pictures, and we were blown away with her ability and talents to capture such incredible photos. Leading up to our wedding day Jaimie made sure we had our list and vision of what we wanted to capture, and she made us, and our wedding party and family feel so comfortable. We wanted to capture us in nature and very natural, timeless photos that could live on our walls forever and she delivered!
Winnebago Springs · We visited Winnebago Springs and knew almost immediately it was perfect for our day. We wanted it to feel at home, relaxed, and a place where family and friends could gather for our wedding weekend, not just the day. Rachel is extremely easy to work with and the on-site amenities and accommodations were incredible. From the outdoor air chapel to the event center, bridal suite and beautiful on-site cabins we’re so happy with our choice. The spaces are naturally beautiful and needed very little added touches!
The Wedding Tree · I visited The Wedding Tree on a spontaneous “let’s just try on dresses to see what I like” and ended up finding my dream dress (and it was the first one I tried on). Anna was our consultant, and she was amazing at selecting an array of dresses and helping to narrow down my choices. We got our bridesmaid dresses, Mother of the Bride dress, and all tuxes through wedding tree and so glad that we did. Amy in the menswear department went above and beyond – she really knows her stuff!
