Our wedding day was absolutely everything we had dreamed of. We did the ceremony and reception at The Barn on South Ridge, it was the first day it hadn't rained at all in like two weeks! My brother officiated the wedding and we had a smaller ceremony with just our closest family & friends in attendance. The venue was stunning! Even more stunning with the help of my amazing aunt and the assistance from a small army. The night was filled with speeches from our best friends, amazing cupcakes and of course lots of dancing! We are so grateful to our friends and family that helped make the day everything we could hope for. It was so special having all of our people come and surround us with love and support. It didn't feel like it in the moment, but later in the night I kept thinking, my goodness I think all these people are here for us!
Rustic Rose Photography · Anna was absolutely fantastic to work with! She helped create a timeline for the day and made sure everything stayed on track! She was so easy-going and flexible with any changes we needed to make day of. We met ahead of time where she got a feel for our families, and made sure we had time for everything! I woke up the next day at 9:00 & already had my sneak peek photos! The photos were BEYOND! I have no idea how she captured all of the beauty of the moment. She knew exactly how to direct everyone even when we had larger photos! I am so so grateful for her wonderful work! I know I will cherish these photos forever!
Lamers Bus Service · I would highly recommend having transportation for the day! It was one less thing for us to worry about! They were amazing to work with and made sure that everything went very smoothly! It gave me so much peace of mind knowing that everyone had a sober ride home!
The Barn on South Ridge · The venue and staff were amazing! The venue was stunning and they were so helpful for all the months prior - answering any questions I had to ease my anxiety. We had the venue from Thursday to Sunday which was SO NICE! We had 2 days to set up everything and make sure it was perfect! Then we had all of Sunday to clean up so we didn't have to stress about cleaning up the night of! They also arranged everything for the bar service which was so nice to have something taken off my plate! Worth every penny!
First Look Sound & Lighting · Tyus was our DJ and was FANTASTIC! He was so flexible and sent us a clear document to fill out that covered every area of everything we could want! He was so great at making sure great music was being played to keep people on the dance floor! He kept us on track timeline wise and let us know when each event was going to take place so we didn't miss anything! He also reviewed song requests that he thought might have been a bit "edgy" to make sure we were comfortable with it being played!
Country Lane Floral & Boutique · We bought all of the flowers in advance through Country Lane Floral & Boutique. They were amazing for letting us do that and also made all of our corsages and boutineeres! My aunt worked SO HARD to make the venue stunning! Her floral pieces were breathtaking and made the venue match everything we dreamed of.
The Wedding Tree · The Wedding Tree was beyond amazing to work with! We got my wedding dress, flower girl dress, ring bearer suit and all of the other suits through them. I had a slight bump along my wedding dress journey (no fault to The Wedding Tree!) The Wedding Tree staff were so helpful and kind to me during this stressful time and did everything they could, above and beyond, to make sure I had the wedding dress of my dreams! After a lot of alterations by Kathy, to my new dress I'd say it was even more beautiful than the original dress that I chose! They were so amazing to work with and made sure that everything turned out perfectly! They were easy to communicate with and always responded promptly. Can't say enough great things about them!
Luxe Hair & Beauty in Winona · Marissa and Kayla were wonderful! They put together a timeline beforehand so all of the bridesmaids could plan and be near when it was time to have their hair and makeup done. They showed up on time and ran ahead of schedule on all of our hair and makeup! All hair and makeup turned out beautifully! They ensured we all looked very natural & beautiful! My hair & makeup lasted the entire night! I had multiple people ask me if I needed touch ups done throughout the day and the answer is no! Everything really did last ALL day! How? Magic maybe, Marissa & Kayla magic!
